Hey guys, After multiple flushes last august, the last oil chance i did the threads disintegrated on removal. Has anyone re-threaded the sump and got a bigger plug? If so, how much bigger did you go?

Just watched a youtube vid on them, they look good but, If i tapped it i could just flush the swarf out. With the heli-coil i'd have to split the case to get the tang out. Think i'll use them as a last choice.
Cheers though dude.

Not sure what the sump is made of but you could always weld a nut on the outside then drill a hole through and get the original hole capped with weld or weld the old bolt head to the sump.
