don't give up chaps they'll be worth it when there done, besides its pissing down here anyway, I went out earlier on mine( first time) and it started raining after 10 mins

yea+1 keep it up fella nearly give up with my mk3 but shes on the road and flies quicker than me bloody 250lc lol!

just had a bit of pr obs with my mk1 10w,rebuilt engine,rebuilt 10w carb with correct jets etc,and its got 10w zorst,its also got a great loom on it as well, but went to start it last week ,and it kicked up OK but wouldn't rev up,very lumpy,i got the odd full rev out of it but mainly crap,so changed the carb to a 12a i had,(still the same)changed the cdi(still the same)again changed the coil and rectifier,(still the same)then we removed the rotor and stator and gave that a right good clean(still the same)finally we removed the rotor and stator again and replaced the stator to a spare one i had,(FSS RUNS FANTASTIC NOW)so it must have been a damaged pick up or something that we couldn't see to the windings on the stator.
so if its not your cdi,i know you said your magneto was good but that might be worth changing to another one to be 110 per cent sure.

It can feel that way some times . Benn there my self many times i you just get fed up but in the end it will be ok.
