When i called after 6 weeks they told me they were at the chromers even though i didnt want chrome so they sent me a set that were obviously knocking around a while and turned ip dented and a weld leaked , just for the record. I never bothered them with this but when i asked for some allspeed pipe decals they never sent them so got the decals from norbo for a 5 iver

Hi ordered some large cans from them and I was told it would take about 8weeks over all, 6 weeks to build and 2 weeks to chrome, they came last week after 5 weeks, sorry.

Why do you want these so badly? Factory mufflers/ pipes perform every bit as (not) well.

we are talking about gibson exhausts here are we?ordered a pair for my 350n1 valve end of last year took about 6-7 weeks and they rang me when they where ready.good value for the money i was pleased with mine but as with any small companies you have to be patient as its not worth them starting abatch of exhausts till they have enough orders

Not exactly the same as the old allspeed but near enough. gibsonexhausts.co.uk/page_8.php?pgenme=2strokeThey are a member on here. Usually around £300 bare steel or a tad over £400 chrome or black chrome Steve

Or get some from Kenny ;-) That of course would be my first choice but if it is the retro look then Gibson do look good. Steve

I've got a set of Kenny's to go on my Yamasaki when the engines done and I cant wait as they are beautifully made and get rave reviews. I also have a pair of Gibsons on my other Hybrid, and they are a lovely looking pipe too, just different. I know the performance of the Gibsons isn't supposed to be much better than stock, but that doesn't bother me. They look better, are lighter and going to sound better than standard, and as said before, that's what we had back in the day. I actually bought mine second hand from Clive, who is the welder at Gibsons. They were one offs, in stainless, that were on his Ypvs that they took to shows. I picked them up from their place and met both Clive and Tony, and they are both really nice fellas. I am sure if there were ever any issues with their products, they would do their best to sort them. If I was in the market for old skool pipes again, I wouldn't hesitate to give them my custom. These are mine, in 316 marine grade stainless; Dusty

You just cant beat the sound of expansions, std pipes are wet, i cant understand why folk pay as much as they do for them? Its a period modification and the bike is more excitig to ride, once you get the jetting right! Ive got all speeds on my 4lo and higgs speed on my 72 H1 both sound great !

That's why you should always order them in the winter when your bikes are safely tucked away, doesn't matter so much if you have to wait...!
Thankfully, when I ordered mine I was quoted the usual 6 weeks but then was lucky enough to get them within a week because of a cancelled order. Worth every penny.
