Offered into the metmechex swinger an RS125 rear wheel, exact same width as the ypvs wheels fitted so thought worth a go. Only difference is the bearing centre size for the spindle, ypvs=15mm the rs=20mm but rather than sourcing new bearings I realise metmechex made the adjusters variable sizes! I just need a 20mm spindle from metmechex and job done, top engineering!! Just awaiting the arrival of some forks then the front can go in! Hope that's just as easy Attachments:

Thanks Dean, had a quick look and it seems like JMc changed owners but they never had a great rep for turn around. To be fair a normal 20mm spindle the right length and it's job done. Thanks guy's for the heads up.

Properly fitted the rear wheel and offered in the front end, although an easy fit the angle looks wrong but not overly to bad, will do until I try the R1 or zx10 front end. Anyone had experience of steering speed at this rake? Mind you the more I look at it I think it's the lack of the 'rear section' on the front mudguard that makes the front wheel look further away than it is? Attachments:

It's not that bad.
Whack a belly pan on to see what it looks like.
It'll help fill the hole.
It's just looks all wrong because you've no bars on.

Cheers soccersmyth, I was looking at your exhausts on ebay earlier thinking they would also change the lines but just the expense at the moment. Might be over to Enniskillen again soon if they're still available, save postage.

are them forks longer than lc ones? you could try dropping the yokes down the legs a little,i can see you cant go too far.but i think with the rear how it sits, with the front of the seat cut away the lines make it look worse than it is.as said before fitting bars or clipons will make it look better.you could jack the back up a bit aswell,it will help with the angle of the forks.but perhaps best to ride it how it is first, and see how it handles.might be perfict how it is.

Cheers Flames, I will drop the forks a bit, level the tank out a touch. Waiting for the right weather, working outside has limitations and is very annoying.
