Hi all, Been browsing the site for a short while thought it was about time i posted. We have a RD125lc Mk1 (it actually belongs to my wife) she bought it new in 1986 and its done less than 6000 miles genuine and is completely standard even down to the tyres, except for the Allspeed which has been on ever since it was run in. It was last on the road in 2003 and has been sitting in the garage ever since sulking and ignored while a variety of other bikes came and went, well a few weeks ago after looking on this excellent website i got inspired to get her up and running again. It had all the usual maladies from standing, seized brakes, blocked carb etc, but after a lot of work she is up and running sweetly again and just waiting for new tyres and airfilter element (which i have ordered from Norbo) and we are going to see if she will go through the mot with a view to getting her back on the road this summer and maybe going to a show or two. Thanks all for the inspiration.
