Great little video. Front end got a bit light didn't it? And parked up in your own aircraft hangar. Cool.

Yeah, they were using the tank as an ashtray 🤣 Steve What were they using the frame for? Used as a warning to others as to what happens when you slam it into a car head on 🤕 Steve

Finally finished my man cave...started assembling it end of April and moved the LCs in last weekend.... Its 6.5m x 3.5m , my good lady has one side for her office/gym area and ive the other , for storing bikes really but the aim was to totally free up the space garage so I can now kit it out with a ramp/bench etc. Its a Dunster house cabin, with a couple of modifications( mainly around the barn doors) and came in a kit form, they wanted £1900 to assemble it , which I thought was a bit rich but when this huge pile of logs was delivered, I nearly reconsidered but with the help of some good (and capable) friends , we did it, been a brilliant learning experience too. Only negative is that Dunsters customer service is about the worst ive experienced and there was a few incorrectly sent parts but its a good product and good value IMHO She has power, insulation, heat, decent lighting, as good a set of locks as we could find to fit , cost a lot more than we first budgeted for but its a fab place to sit down with a cuppa.
SOME of it as delivered.
End of that first weekend..Back in April..
A weekend later..

Fecking LC2. After sorting the leak on the gear change, found a small split in the rear coolant hose and replaced that last week. Went in the garage today and there was engine oil on the floor, its now dripping from the engine case bolts under the crank area. Decided that the last owners rebuild skills cant be trusted and have decided to do the job properly. Engine now out.

Started engine strip, head off, exhausts and radiator. It’s all coming apart worryingly easily. Not checked anything yet but one cylinder was low on compression when measured last year. I have not heard this motor run but was told it did before I picked it up so full strip down is in order. On the down side whilst clearing some space dropped the tank on the floor😭, it did look nice.
