Anybody know what the tyre sizes are for the original spoked wheels (disc brakes) on the RD 250/400?
What are other tyre options?
Can you fit twin discs to the front? Cheers.

The alloys are 90/90 H18 front and 110/80 H18 rear I would imagine the spoked wheels are the same. I run Bridgestone BT45s on mine. You can fit twin discs but you need to fit a fork leg with mounting points. I heard XS500 forks are the same.

Thinking of fitting them to my LC2 so the fork mounting isn't a problem. Cheers for the info

If the front wheel does not have a fitting for twin discs why is Norbo selling a blanking plate for the front wheel (spoked and alloy)?

If the front wheel does not have a fitting for twin discs why is Norbo selling a blanking plate for the front wheel (spoked and alloy)? According to the E model parts fiche the spoked front wheel hub has fittings for twin disc that is why there is a blanking disc available. But, again according to the fiche, this particular wheel was only available in the UK. I'm no AC expert but I think that particular hub a very rear item indeed. HTH OEB

The rear hub is very sought after as the TZ boys use them. I have seen them fetch £300 just for the hub

have no idea , I am originally from the UK but have been living here over 10 years. Am now trying all the local breakers as there is no real 2 stroke scenne over here. Hopefully I moght find a bargain.
