I've got chance of one of these; www.dpreview.com/news/0608/06082301olyfe170180.aspbut these are the pictures from it mind you it was literally freezing in the shed so this may of affected focus (mist on lens possibly ) I just looks too grainy Might try it in daylight before I decide

If you're gonna get a good quality digital camera you really want a Digital SLR......much finer picture quality.....I'm saving my pennies up for one. Most of them have the finest lenses (zeiss) and you can often pick em up dirt cheap on ebay.........Ricoh , Nikon , Minolta , Panasonic , Canon , Pentax , Olympus etc etc most of these would cost over a grand in the shops...but good ol' ebay you can get em for less than half that... see for yourselves Check these out......... 180076941610 or 290073262374

Any decent brand of SLR will do that sort of high speed stuff mate.....theyre every bit as high-tech as the old film cameras were...what I mean is...they all have adjustable apertures , shutter times and exposure times....massive zoom capability , which I think is the most important feature........Crap zoom = dinky photos , plus all of them are at least 7 megapixel.....some even as high as 12 megapixel.
My choice would be an Olympus or the Pentax....both world reknowned for the high quality photographic awards and superb build quality and reliability.
At £400 you cant possibly go wrong......the Olympus one is £1,100 rrp !

Hi mellow, they look on the pc pretty much what they look like here! both cameras are set to auto and I used a tripod so as to keep steady the fuji is set to fine or best picture quality but the olympus doesn't seem to have this I'm starting to think about just keeping my old one and spending the £50 on me bike
