Hi im josh and im 20 ill be 21 in march, i dont have a bike licence but i have had a drivers licence for 3 years and i have 3 cars.. -1969 orange mini 1000 -1999 Mk4 Golf -2005 Seat Leon Cupra 180 When i was born my mum made my dad stop riding his rdlc125 and now i have decided to get it out of the shed and fully rebuild it, i will then do my test and get on the road  i have been a mechanic for going on 5 years so im not finding the rebuild hard just interesting and loving it here is some photos of the bike so far. i dont know much about bikes so i hope i can gather lots of information from people on here. ill try to upload more as i rebuild the bike Thansk josh.   heres a picture of my car for all you who also lve cars like me  |

haa thanks yeh he thinks he is getting it back when im done but owe noes he isnt and i know one lady who wont let him ride it haha, will do post more as i progress, ill resize the images aswell |

yeh its fun, i need it realy because 70 pound for 260 miles in my seat cupra is not realy good on the wallet  |

hi josh,, welcome aboard buddy ;D ;D that lc looks well nice  8-)not be long you will have it on the road as a learner then you will be passed ya test and thinking of a bigger bike,,, do you think your going to get a bigger LC when ya pass???  |

well ill do my test to ride this bike then straight after do my bg test for anybike, im not planning on a bigger bike yet, this one is mainly to get me the 4 miles to work and back which cost me so much in my car having 200+ hp isnt good on fuel in a car sitting in traffic haha, but i would love a bigger bike one day not realy looked at any other lc;s |

Nice bike, I used to have fast blingy cars but then you realise no car gives the same kick as a bike and then you buy a blingy van to kart all your bikes around |

Welcome in, when you get stuck with a problem and you will plenty of advice in here. Personally I don't do any work on my 2 bikes, am lucky enough to have my mates do all that stuff, hence the name rdlclazy

That's nice to be able to pass a bike on like that. It looks like your dad was a bit of a boy racer with the Allspeed Seriously - I think you'll be surprised how much fun it is when you get it going. Cheers BM |

yeah he would have fitted it, the allspeed exhaust, sounds better and allegedly increases power

The bike would have been restricted. If you change the exhaust for an aftermarket one (Allspeed or similar) you get a healthy power increase.

Welcome Josh, not been on here long myself. We also have a red Mk1 125, ours hasn,t been on the road for ten years done a lot of work to get her roadworthy, hopefully going for mot tomorrow. I,m sure you will have lots of fun restoring her.

hey guys sorry I havnt been on, ive been busy paying for stuff an trying to do a garret gt2871s bigturbo conversion on my seat leon, but today I decided to do some more work on the bike so I took the engine out to rebuild it i will also be stripping it from the frame and rewiring the whole bike and redoing all the old crappy weld then will have it all repainted so I should be posting more again like I was before and to the guys who posted both the red bikes, they look gorgeous   |
