MOT'd today, 50 miles on fresh crank & rings Hasn't missed a beat Only going up to 6.5 / 7k until it's got 100 miles on the clock, very tractable & smooth power delivery - really looking forward to getting it into the powerband Out today & I recon this turns more heads than my Candyblue LC !!!...

Very nice.
I originally set out to buy an N2, my mate had one back in '88 and I lusted after it. I've ended up with an LC though.

Still got this ! had it up a couple of times on ebay to no avail ... It's been getting used on regular basis, quite a rattly bike though I've been working my way round the noises, kickstart spring, rear footrests, panel gaps and the like. The exhaust mount rubbers were knackered, split & perished

Cut centres out with stanley knife Then hacksaw , chisel & punch. I'd tried pressing them out, couldn't get them to move. New bushes in freezer, quick waz on the hangers with blowtorch, and happily drifted home

I'd changed the pipes a few months ago, not over keen on detachable can microns, the are stan stephens expansions mated to standard headers - they were always cracking (not in a good way !), once I'd had the downpipes welded in, they started cracking at the stinger so got slung in the corner. Thought I'd give them a go on this, they ain't cracked yet, but the silencer can baffles rattle loads. Bolted on some little cans whilst sourcing baffle packing stuff, liberty loud with these Gave them a clean up when repacking.

Stripped an exhaust stud out the barrel whilst tinkering, it had already had timesert sorta installed, got it out and had a threaded insert machined/fitted - Engineering solutions in bexley kent.. Went back to standard colour top end whilst apart.

It's looking pretty, still vibey/rattles though Crank felt fine with the top end off, it revs to 11k & go's like a good un, nasty old rattle though - think I may have spun a bearing so it's gonna come apart again. watch this space !
