Are these kits still available for the 350lc? Do they work? When would you use them? Sorry for so many questions lads.

If you can still buy Ledar kit's they wont be genuine as Leon Moss who developed them and ran Ledar is no longer with us belief he passed away in the 90's Ledar engineering was just on the outskirt's of Peterborough back in the late 80's early 90's I would stick with standard airbox

Hi, I've only ever seen second hand kits for sale. Leon Moss was the technical guru often seen in Performance Bikes magazine back in the day. He was tragically killed when a trailer being towed by another vehicle got detached and veered into his path. I think Ledar went down shortly after. I had a Ledar kit on my 400 back in the 80's and it worked well with the pod filters I had fitted. Also had some Ledar pipes way back. He really knew his stuff and PB mag often used his Dyno for features in the mag.

I dont think I've ever seen copies, but could be wrong. They were sold as "air corrector" kits and mine had spacers that would space the K&N'S further back from the carbs to stop the resonating issue associated with that type of filter. So long ago now I don't recall the performance difference, but I do know that the bike ran really well with the kit fitted - well it did until it seized catastrophically at 90mph in the fast lane of the M25 , but that was nothing to do with the mixture ! I stand to be corrected (excuse the punn) but I am pretty sure there are no air correctors jets on 4l0 ledar kits.
