Noddy question ...is there some knack to removing the front brake light switch (350lc)?
I've removed the lever but brake switch doesn't want to budge?
Confused...

If tis like the aircooled which i am pretty sure it is,there is a barb kinda thing on the switch, there is a hole underneath the master cylinder, push a screwdriver or summat into that and it will release it

As above if you turn it upsidedown there is a hole - press inside with a flat blade screwdriver or similar to push a plastic retaining barb in - at the same time pull twist out the switch assembly.

Many thanks Marvin & Shytalk - you're both on the money.
However still wouldn't budge. The external housing appears to have had an impact at some point with a slight crack - there was no getting the plastic switch to move off the pin in the housing - brute force & ignorance (breaking the switch of course) got it out. New switch required anyhow as it is the potential source for a fuse blowing problem.
