as the nights draw in theres plenty of garage time ;D bought a couple of wheels recently and set about bringing them back from the dead.as anyone who has repainted LC wheels.its time consuming.this rear wheel took@18 hours to get to here.new bearings and tyre cleaning old paint off, masking up and then spraying i onlt leave the masking tape on about 2 hours before removing.ive found that it comes off better and without damaging the paint.i did the front wheel at the same time fitted

There's a sense of complete satisfaction when you DIY. Back in the 90s, I gave a set of GS 1000 wheels to a pro sprayer. I waited months, was charged a bomb, and the returned wheels were shite. Red paint leaking onto the aluminum?
