im after a servo control unit for an f2 are thelc2/31k units the same guys also stator and magneto the same? cheers nigel

servos are,as far as i know,stators are different tho,someone will surely come along and say wat is wat!!

F2 and 31k controllers are different but can be made to work easily.
They are slightly different shaped ( F2 wedge shape, Lc2 is like a block with taper at one end.
F2/F1 and Lc2 all slightly different but mostly just the connector.
Early has a 3 way plug and later has 2 way and a single bullet. Plugs easily available from ebay and wiring colours all the same.
Lc2 5500 - 8600ish, F2 6000 - 10200 ( stupid it opens full after the red line )

Steve Forgot to say, 31k is better as it actually opens the valves at a usable rpm No point having a higher exhaust port if the cdi and PV controller don't make the most of it. Had a 1UA motor with 31k controller and cdi with abbey pipes and would rev to 10500 and still pulling strong, just was my max Steve |
