Bloke comes up to me this morning, says he's got 2 bikes to sell, one a 1983 rd 80 LC, in blue one previous owner very good condition, micron exhaust, £1200, the other an unregistered Kawasaki ar 80, 220 miles from new, £1400 ? I'm going to view tonight, what are these worth these days, there's non on eBay to value.  |

buy the rd. last one i saw on ebay went for over 2 grand,and to be honest the ar doesnt sound a bad buy either

snap his hand off for the 80 lc,the ar seems about the money, but if the lc is a uk 80 lc worth alot more, even an imported good 80 non 125 style would be worth more.Good luck and if you find anymore or a mint gs 1000 katana please pm me.Hope they re real bikes and its not some loony luring you to his garage to have his wicked way with you,better take some coppaslip to be on the safe side m8 ;D

if you have the money buy the both (only going to go up in value)
rd80lc worth £2000+
the ar80 not many about will go up in next few year due every selling wheel off
i have ar50 frame with the ar80 engine (i am wait for 80 frame so i can swap over as i think 80cc will be worth more money in next 5 years +)

The guy rang me about an hour before I was due to view and said he'd changed his mind and was going to put them on eBay to get their true value !!?

Well that was a shock thought it would go for a lot more then £2100 as the last one i spotted on e-bay was a german import and went for the same money.I think someone got a good buy genuine uk 80's are like hen's teeth.............

From what i could make out it was 1st reg on the 01/07/82 and only on the road for a year judgeing by tax disc ? ? ? ?
