i have been told by gibson that there pipes run very close to the belly pan on the lc what can ido to protect the belly pan from melting  |

could try heat reflective tape on the inside of the pan.

a small round spacer fitted between the belly pan and the frame bracket (bolt goes through it), does the job for me . it just drops the belly pan enough away from the exhaust and can't be seen.

 this is a picture of one of my black chrome allspeeds i got for my 350lc, earlier this year, I disnt put any wadding in the baffles and they sound spot on, hope you like pic, and if you want any more pictures let me know |
