Can anyone recommend a good belly pan fitting kit with rubber insets on clamps or "p" clips. The original fittings with my pan will scratch the crap out of my frame. I know Norbo does a kit but look just like metal clamps only? Pics would be handy please

Hi, I used rubber p clips to mount my belly pan. I only used 3 as one was a right pain to get acces to. Rob

I used 4 rubber lined P clips to fit mine, found it best to fit this one first with the pan tilted to the side. OEB

I fitted mine with the kit from Norbo. That right hand one was an arse to fit,my son ended up making a bracket out of a strip of alluminium and bending it to a 'P' shape,we lined the brackets with strips of double sided sticky pads that are like foam 2mm thick. This was fitting the kit over old small can microns,it was fiddly to fit and did have to fit the right side first then tighten everything up after.

i didnt put the back 2 clips on mine. (I actually couldnt get the one pictured above to fit at all)
I fitted one of the u-clanps to the crossmember at the mainstand and made a bracket to mount down to the middle of the belly-pan, and it bolts up to that - unfortunately I did this after I painted it, otherwise I couldve filled the two back holes in.
its dead easy to fit the 'pan, as this back mount holds it enough in place while you fit the front two mounts.

I've ordered 25mm rubber lined stainless p clips. I've also sourced via our wonderful auction site coutersunk white nylon screws/bolts and washers etc to blend in with the pan so I'll put a picture up when they all arrive.

Cheers for that Elsie. I've bought nylon countersunk screws and washers etc with rubber lined stainless p clips. Wasn't keen on the metal finish against the white paint. Going to try and fit the belly pan Tomoz so ill put some photos up.

Just got some 25mm rubber lined P clips for mine, will report back with some photo's on how I got it to fit if possible. Also Wickes sell small packets of galvanised domed nuts cheap in 6 or 8mm sizes, so will see what they look like.
