ive got a ex proddy racing 250lc i'm putting back on the road , problem is its a 275 with a bob farnham production tune ,i've put the airbox back on , can anybody tell me what the standard jet size is for a 1980 250lc , i'm a bit confused as it was running half an airbox with half of the top cut out on 200 mains when the haynes states standard is a 190 main jet if this i right why did'nt it seize up cos it was too lean , would be most grateful if someone can shine some light on this

by your reckoning matt i'd be best to leave it alone , it too runs premix , do you run a filter element in your airbox or not ? as you can see its still got oridinial pipes but they've been gutted out & 4l1 carbs , the previous owner reckoned it was good for 130mph , i don't think so , lol Attachments:

If its set up and running fine id leave it. you mess with it and it could well blow up . id ride it first and see how it runs look at the plugs and all that before id think about swapping jets and mixture stuff .
and welcome to the site Ozzy and matt you both really need to get up to 100 posts to see the hidden pages
