I have stripped the front forks of my YPVS 350 to replace leaking oil seals.
Whilst apart I was wondering if there are any modifications that would improve the suspension?
Aftermarket progressive springs? If so from where?
Any cartridge emulators that will fit the internals? Race Tech USA?
What oil thickness is recommended & the amount?
How much air pressure is used in the forks? Or not bother?
Thanks

Harder/stiffer springs are pretty well mandatory. Leave progressive springs for Posers. Mikes SX.com sells 'Clone' Emulator valves for $50 Work fine despite the price and being copies. IMO $50 is pretty well fair value for the small effect they give. 20w oil and stiffer springs is a good start point. Air pressure ~10 psi but it leaks out in a day or 2.

Maxton do a fork conversion. I had the details but lost them. I think they fit cartridges for damping + stiffer springs. Not cheap though.

Emulators should be of appropriate size to the damper rod and spring above. Both have to fit with reliability for the things to work. Some fettling can be done for small size variances. But not a huge amount. There Are other sizes made, but not offered through Mikes site OR at that price :-).
