lol! Little b'stds.....I have the traps laid in the garage for my invasion, due as soon as this temperature drops another few degrees....I catch 2/3 a week over the Winter, always worth a chuckle when I hear the Mrs scream as she steps out in the garage, heading for the fridge.
My dyno man, spun up a Busa this year,m February time and was baffled as to the cause of a strange induction noise, the critters had stuffed nuts and food in the air ducts and where living in the air box!

I have faced similar problems in my R1-Z. The Air Filter element used to get sucked into, when the bike is being throttled, especially more when revved on idle. So, I cut a wire mesh [with large gaps] that ensured the Air Filter never got sucked under pressure of suction. Try it out.

I bought it off a bloke on a farm he kept it in barn with lots of wildlife,as for the shocker mounts makes you wonder what else might have been missed off,the shocker is a rock hard spax any one seen one on an lc would you keep it or will my 13 stone never move it

i doubt its mice, ive had a coupl of 125lc's like that and my f2 was the same. on my f2 some of the air filter was in the carb bowls. i must have done 1000 miles with the filter like that. i bet when you remove the filter you can rub it between your hands and it will just turn to dust...

I have just had the same issue - and yes rubbling it between your hands and it turned to dust!
Guess you shouldn't expect anything more from 32 year old foam!
