A good helping of high temp silicone sealant between the flange spigot and pipe. Make sure you leave the sealant over night to fully cure before you run it.

Thanks for that however it appears that the plate is bent due to me over tightning when i fitted them. It seems that the weld was to proud on the mating surface from the flage fitting so they will not fit together flush. Has anyone else had this with allspeeds. Anyway i straightened the flange and removed the proud weld and got it or them fitting flush now with the barrrel so im hoping now with the tip i might have an oil free bike for a while

Most Allspeeds fit without the oval gasket and the flange not sitting against the barrel.
You usually have the spacer in the barrel then a standard later larger round gasket (copper/fibre) then the flange bolted up to the gasket with a space between the flange and the barrel.
The oil usually runs between the collars and the pipe hence the need for silicone sealer between the two joints.
That's how Gibson recommend fitting them....
