Just make sure you use goggles and gloves and don't do it with bare skin on show.

Bought an ultrasonic cleaner for dental use,it came from Hong Kong and cost about 80quid,can do one carb at a time, found it through google,great job if you don't mind the cost

So I've been a bit quiet on this front recently, the long weekend has helped me start getting everything back together now though. Not many photos of the progress but it went from something like this to where it is now.

Engine Fired up today, started on the second kick , with no leaks that I have found yet, sounds and smells brilliant. Oil pump held on full throttle for the first minute or two and checked the pump delivers to the carbs and yes I have set the minimum gap too. Just got some bodywork to go on and charge the battery as I left the ignition on overnight...

MOT passed first time today . Got the first 50 miles on it after the rebuild. Had a rattle from the main stand spring which was fixed with a bit of a bend of the exhaust bracket. Just got to get the miles on it to run in and properly open her up now. 2
