just been reading ccm article on mark griffiths rd 125 lc is conclusion on why most of us own these is spot on in my case, quote from the article"the guy who buys an rd 125 lc today is the same guy who bought one back in 1982 .the very same guy. if you didnt buy one then its very unlikely youll buy one now. its that personal connection, and that connection back to your youth." i totaly agree im 41 6ft 3 married with 3 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 guinea pigs, all to support, but when im out on my lc im 17 again its 1988 and i havent got a care in the world, it makes me smile every time , so i dont care if im to tall for the bike ,and probably look a bit silly on it, for me and im sure many many others its priceless. buy the way a fantastic bike you have mark absolutely superb.

thanks lads i dont like blowing my own trumpet so its nice for someone to put something up, i have had a lot of bikes over the years, 350lcs rd400, tdr250, rgv250s, dt175s,rg500,rgv500, x7s etc etc but i must say the lc125 is the most comfortable and fun to ride, its one of those bikes that your always wanting to take for a spin.

"the guy who buys an rd 125 lc today is the same guy who bought one back in 1982"?? Bought mine when I was 18, then stood it 8 years or so and now I'm back on it again... 2 years before me my brother owned one (bought 2 in bits for £30)... I bought mine first because A people knew what an RD was, B it was fast, C it looked sexy! I still ride it for the same reasons, I love it how it turns heads
