Haha, still got the Harley. Its all original and it is a great bike. My boyfriend bought me the marsbar decals for my birthday and i am torn between the two colours now. I had the marsbar in my youth but like the silver.

mars bar are nice but very common stick to what you have .
Now you have the best of 2 bikes .
A bike to go out and have fun on and a Tractor should you ever want to plow a field .

To be honest copper ( dont know your name) i thought your bike looked better than mine. Mine is an import all original no restoring. I have been polishing the nuts off it today to try and get rid of some very old grime. Datatagged it today too. tried to fit some panniers but the bike said nooooooooooooooooooo!!

I bet it didnt like panniers too much either! Having said that, I can remember couriers having top box's on their LC's in London back in the day. Mines not original, its a UK bike but was originally a 250, I still have the original 250 lump but a dealer converted it to a 350 a couple of years ago(have the receipts for this engine change) Mine looks OK in the pics but under close scrutiny, it needs most of the black work re-painting and all the fasteners plating/replacing, exhaust look very scabby TBH Still, im looking forward to the finished article if not knackering my fingers with autosol and fine wire wool! Christ, thats some luggage you got there, nice one. It never ceases to amaze me what folk can carry on a bike. I used to have panniers on my old rd, they attached to a harness that i left on the bike, they clipped on with two buckles. What panniers are they in the pic. The z is my boyfriends trip back to his youth.

I've made a frame out of copper waterpipe & insulation that sits over the pillion seat, to stop them flapping in & touching the wheel.
