Stuck at werk, and I need to find out the thread size on a metmachex swing arm wheel spindle. RD350LC (1982) As I need to know what to borrow (Tap / Die) from the engineering tool box! Anyone know for sure? Robin

Robin, Its a UNF thread on mine (9/16" UNF NYLON NYLOC LOCK NUT BZP) I bought the nuts to this description off eBay - but I would check with a micrometer and thread gauges to confirm, as its very similar to M14. I have a spare nut I can send you?

Billbot, Thanks for the information, the tap and die box is all metric here, trust Metmachex but there is an odds and sods box here, just raked out a couple of nuts that look like they fit the bill, look like they came off the Titanic, but will clean up OK, fingers crossed. Thanks for the very helpful information again Robin

Well then, when I posted on here, I also Emailed Metmachex at the same time, to see if they would tell me the thread size, or even sell me a nut , no reply after a few days, so went off in another direction.... as you do.. So imagine my surprise today go into work (after a week off) and find a package with, a brand new shiny Nylock nut and two Metmachex stickers FREE...! P.S. M14 x 1.5 (fine) thread in the end ;D ;D ;D RESULT..!
