Is it possible to replace the gearbox (behind the sprocket) oil seal without splitting the cases?
If so, how is it done.
Thanks

more than likely the shaft has a groove worn in it and sadly no new seal will make any difference. worth doing both at the same time

Turn the sprocket spacer round so the seal is running on an unworn part Might need to clean it up first though as they do get surface rust on them.
