In my office we have something that is similar but not quite as advanced. We have a rapid prototyping machine that 'draws' the shape with a laser in a vat of epoxy resin... It can't do moving parts but is very good at making complicated shapes for testing before casting. Shame that it's the MD's toy and not for general use....  Reg |
