cant see it catching on , 12k to pricey i think its ugly and a bit slow for that money.

Another 20yrs? The electric bike needs to have more range than they have now. Having said that if your trips are within its range then it may be usefull. But at that price how long would it take to recouperate the extra purchase expense? I would not buy this one unless it came with an inbuilt stepladder. So I can get on the ****er!!!!!! (But it would *iss off those that collect the fuel duty!)

the one with half the range is half the price. with running costs at about 2p per mile for the short range one if you work local it coiuld be a viable option. it would save me £5 per day.

i like the style of the bike but prices need to come down drastically before people will start buying em.

in 10 years when they have a decent range and reasonable price tag maybe. electric cars are ment to be very tunable as alot of them are hevily restricted so the speed side of it will be ok i guess. untill i cant afford petrol il give it a miss
