The carb on my import mk1 when left empties out of the float over flow the float height appeared to be correct not sure what else it could be any ideas on a fix?

Is the float needle seating ok? Could be worn? Maybe if it has a full tank of fuel the extra pressure in the fuel line might just cause the fuel to leak past the float needle valve (not sure if this is it's correct name)

have u drained it lately  if so give the carb a tap and see if it seats the float needle valve thingy  |

yea that will be the float needle valve, replace with new one job sorted

Swoped it for another seat and valve out of a old 12a carb sorted now
