I've been sorting out the black import as its been running like a dog one minute it's ok then go for a spin and it starts spluttering and dying on me .so I cleaned the carb and fitted a larger jet for the alspeed exhaust .still playing up and flooding when stood for a day or so total bitch to start.
Then I remembered the guy I got it from said he had put some new racing reeds ,so I whipped it out and this is what it looks like
Lots of space bettween the reed and block and was gunked up a bit ,also one side looks to be bent or not fitted straight
By comparison here is another block that's not beNt
So I fitted another block with standard metal petals and it runs rearly well now just need a reed spacer from norbo when he can get some made
