Best head gasket to use?

Hello chaps,

I’ve got to rebuild the top of my engine and I wanted to fit the ‘best’ head gasket. Are genuine Yamaha head gaskets the best ones to use? I’ve bought a full gasket set from Yambits but I believe these are patent gaskets (maybe not?). Should the head gasket in this set be ok and up to scratch?

I also bought a little end bearing from Yambits (£5), would this be ok or is it best to try and find a genuine Yamaha little end?

It depends on the make of the gaskets and the bearings only use jap bearings and good quolity gaskets patten are ok so long as they are not the cheepo patten ones.
