hi all, what is the correct air screw setting for the 250 lc carbs and what position should the carb needle be as standard. also the left hand pot smokes slighly more than the right , i have just rebuilt the top end , new pistons rebore etc etc and both carbs with kits but didnt add the choke part that came with the kits. could it be that the choke carb (left) needs this peice changing as it could be running slighly richer due to wear. Thanks

The air screw should be 1 and 1 8th screws out 4th clip from the top for the needle. Its quight normal for 1 pot to smoke more then the other so its nothing to worry about unless its a a grate deal more smokey . but i would do a oplug chop and look at both plugs any way just to be on the safe side.
