I am picking up a 71/72 [??] DS7. It has in it - 1] a 6 speed tranny 2] 250 reed valved barrel 3] 28mm carbs 4] Silencers are not round rather has a welding joint running along the top and bottom length of the silencers 5] Bend pipes are welded to the silencers The guy has the original 5 speed GB as spare with a broken shifter fork and a Piston ported 250 barrels. He says he was wise not to invest in a shifter fork and a set of pistons for his Piston ported cylinders, rather felt it prudent to invest in a 6 speed and Reed valved cylinders. How should I keep it? Please suggest -
