1a1 pipes

Just dug out the exhaust pipes for my old 400c. Are these pipes for the states? Ive had the bike 30 yrs & was regd locally in '77 (s plate). I wonder if the 1a1 pipes were somtimes put on bikes bound for places other than the states?

1A1 pipes are all area C/D model 400. I am sure my 400 D has 1A1 on the pipes
