Hi, Ive just joined as iam about to complete a build of a 250lc, its got lomas pipes and filters ive up jetted and lifted the needles 1 from standard, the bike starts and runs but takes a long while to come down to idle, ive taken out both pilot jets and cleaned and replaced thet are 20s its helped but not cured, any sugesttions please?

it could be a load of things when filters are involved,or an air leak!give the carbs a good clean out,emulsion tubes,everything.check the reed valve rubbers for cracks/leaks,then a plug chop is the best to get the mixture bang on.hth

what are your air screws set at ? wind em in and try them at 1 1/8 turns out , I find them very sensitive oh and welcome

Thanks will try those things, air screws are at 1 out as it ran better like that 1 1/8 was not good for it.
Also my rev counter seems to react very slow up and down any reason for this? sorry to keep asking

you rev counter prob take the inner out of the cable and clean and re oil it see if it improves things HTH

just tried to add pics, but the size is to big? will try again later, Bike is kenny roberts colours with lomas pipes, drilled twin disc, bespoke grill and chain guard. The chain guard is from a chap from norwich who was big into lcs and saddly lost his life to an ongoing illness. Graham fox. ps also from norwich

A lot of people know Foxy and there was a memoriel post up hear for him, he will be mised by the people that new him . With picks if you phot shop them and make them 600 long then save them they will be ok
