interesting, just picked up a 250lc frame number 4L1 000007, aircooled wheels, no side stand......resto just started

nice 1 moist,wasnt 007 the prototype for the LC??with 400 wheels,on test in holland??could be wrong tho.if it is the original prototype your sitting on a gold mine m8

yep thats the one, already got aircooled 400 1A3 000008, also sold my mate RD125lc...frame number 000001........always looking for more

the 125 was used to homologate the RDto germany in 1982, then used for the 12hp limit in uk, Yamaha donated it to a college in Staines, I bought it from the ex caretaker . All verified by Yamaha.....

no, bought privately, but is a pre production bike, originally dutch.

if its the right bike,its the one in the lc book(with niall mckenzies bike on cover)that was used by yamaha netherlands to develop the 250 lc.it had rd 400 alloy wheels on it,was blue/white,single front disc,even the first 350"s had 1 disc at first,and is a very lucky find....i wont be cheeky and ask how much!!!

Be a 'pleasant' surprise if it's discovered to be a Bitsa bike. Sure has the earmarks of one.
