Here's my new guitar, it's awesome! ;D I bought it used but it's in very good condition. I gave about £46 for it which is really cheap. It's pretty much brand new. I'm usung my dads amp atm, a 15 w Line 6 Spider III, I'm getting a 30 w Line 6 soon though. Not that I need a more powerful amp, I just found a cheap one and it happens to be a 30 w.

Why don't you give it a try shane? I've only been playing/training for like... I dunno, 4-5 months or something like that? Now it sounds alot better.

Lies, all lies. I am a guitar retard and don't normally fail at anything I put my mind to,but after buying an accoustic and an electric I did indeed fail. One of those things I wish I'd started younger,my son is pretty good on his but I really struggled. Started off ok but just couldn't advance from the basics, think my fishermans sausage fingers just aren't articulate enough. I can only just about bloody type Respect (and envy) to anyone plays guitar.

What about a visit to the surgeon lovelydog? Maybe they can slim your fingers down a tad? ;D Honestly though, it would suck to have REALLY thick finger tips. I think my fingers are a bit thick but it's not impossible to play, it's just a bit tricky sometimes.

Ah, my fingers aren't really really really fat but probably just too fat. When I first got my acoustic I went to have guitar tuition and started picking up the chords straight away and thought I'd master it,so bought an electric and an amp and went off after each lesson to do my 'homework' and was progreesing well but then just came up against an absolute brick wall. I can still do the first things I learnt but nothing more. Ended up giving the acoustic to a friend as part payment for a job he helped me with and swapped the electric for a bag of weed ;D Good luck with yours mate, nice guitar by the way. I had an Arai accoustic and a Squire Strat,my son's got a genuine Fender Strat. Lovely sound if you can play the darn thing. Keep it up.

Thank's for wishing me good luck, you never know, perhaps I also end up hitting a brick wall? I hope I don't but who knows.. I'll just keep jammin and see what happens. I've started to learn how to do gallops now. I found it is much easier to hit the string properly if you hold the pic with just the thumb and index finger, (it makes it so much more relaxed) the other three fingers can just hang around somewhere else where they don't disturb lol.

Sounds pretty good to me Billy boy :-) Thank's lol, I'm not very satisfied with the last vid, there's alot of small mistakes in it, but then again it's a pretty hard song to play (for me anyways).

Edit: Because I deleted my YT account, this thread is missing alot of vids. I've tried cleaning it up, and henceforth I'll try not to delete stuff.
