do i use the ypvs reed block rubbers or the tzr rubbers??? ???as the holes have to be filed out of the tzr reedblocks i would think you would use the the ypvs ones, and do the 6mm spacers need to be ypvs as well, thanks all

Got that set up on mine.
Use the YPVS rubbers, not sure about the spacers as mine came with them.
All I know is there is not a lot of meat left as the TZR cages are bigger so may have to use YPVS spacers and machine out to fit.
I went with 10mm spacers as advised to help the boost port.

thanks steve,i was told to use 6mm spacers as it brings the reed cages back from the boost port.and was told that this is a drop in fit(except for filing holes and 6mm spacers?)can i ask who advised you?thanks, rich.

All depends on the spec on the motor and advice of your tuner, you can get the reeds to fit without a spacer and just a little bit of fettling. Yes the port is still obstructed ( think the TZR block is shorter so not as much, cannot remember now ) but your not messing with inlet timing. My new setup is with 3mm spacers and notched/modded reed block so I am keeping the carb as close to stock position as possible. Also the Airbox is a pain in the arse with large reed spacers and you need that if your running the PJ carbs.

yes am running airbox and pj"s,but you can cut rubber from around the airbox trumpets with a scalpel to make carb fitting easier.

No worries, just giving some heads up info on my data from last summer playing till I blew the motor up. One thing though moving the PJ carbs can cause all sorts of issues with flat spots and jetting.
