Attempting to make my 250 LC into a 350 and would like to use the carbs I've got. Mine has got the tie-bar engine so is a later one. What jet sizes would a suitable starting point? Grateful for any comments. Thanks, John.

If your not going to use premix, dont forget to change the oil pump (different rating). And the exhausts, if using standard exhaust pipes that is.

No personal experience but I have been informed by those that know that 250 carbs do not work that well on a 350 engine, something to do with internal airways/jets cast into the body. OEB

Have heard that early 350 carbs aren't that good so wanted to avoid them. Want to get it going reasonable without burning my new Mitakas. Going to use pre-mix to start with, we use quite a bit of equipment on pre-mix and it seems to do us well' John.
