Looking at ways to get the coolant hoses looking nice, mine are probably about 20+ years old. Samco hoses seem to be about £40,,,,owch....
Not seen new stock hoses for sale so far, anyone know a good way of making them look good or cheep alternatives.....

I tried ordering genuine Yam ones from the parts list and most of them were No Longer Available...
I think the Samco ones are ok for the price, genuine ones would cost nearly that much..

Silicon spray oil (like WD40) tends to clean up most rubber and plastic parts nicely. There's also back-to-black for car bumpers that I think is probabaly the same stuff. The silcon spray is useful for general use too.

Take them off and scrubb in the sink with a good cleaner/de-greaser, then some sort of wax or I use furniture polish, or as recommended above, got to get them clean first

The coolant hoses for the 4LO are still available from Yamaha, except the one from the head to the rad. Don't know why.

I've scrubbed up the original ones I have, would have been nice if there was an alternative for not so crazy money.
