hi all thinking of geting a rd 200 dx from ebay how much shod a mint one go for or evern a very good one .
are thay as good as the 250 or is it best just to get a 250 thanks

my mate had one back in 1985 black with mars bar stripes,it made a fantastic sound and pulled like fu*k,it was a total wheelie machine good luck go for it.

All the air cooled rd's are great in their own right, the 200 is no exception. Looking forward to the pics. I have a 250e and I love that bike.

There a nice bike mate but they were never as popular as the 250/400 so seconhand parts are not see easy to come by.

I had a 200 year before last.Huge fun, wish I'd kept it.Such a lively little motor if set up right. Agreed on parts though, can be a pain to find some bits.

Parts can be a prob. Set up is essentail. Combined starter charger can be a pain and so can setting the points . Fit new points condensors and stator brushes and clean the armeture. Time consuming but well worth the effort. Had mine for 15 years from new ,only sold it for the usual reasons ,wife ,kids mortgages , to many other prjects etc. Go like stink, well worth it and I see values have risen .Best of luck with it
