Hi, in the little tuning guide it says "250 LC carbs will give more mid- range than 350 0r YPVS carbs". Does this apply to 350 LC? Seems a bit confusing! Thanks John.

250 carbs have different airways in them,so i presume thats what gives better mid-range,but at the expence of top end!!!personally i would jet and tune 350 carbs.hth.

I run 250 carbs on mine , 170 mains / 25 pilots, needles on the middle clip and the air srews out half a turn , as said better mid range , may be you will suffer top end but it seems plenty quick to me and pulls flawlessly all the way up through ( bog standard bike )

I must have the earlier carbs , mine bogged out with the standard 190 mains had to drop back to 160 then went up to 170

Thanks to everyone for the help. I was after mid-range and that seems a good way to get it. John.
