ok so ive re-read my previous thread and jetteed it to 230 and needle 1 up from botton and the results are imediatly obvious. revs easier revs drop back straight away. will take her for a blast and post the road test results wen i get back.

If that plug wasnt taken out and a photo taken there and then after a full chat run up a slight incline for 10-20 seconds this pic means nothing. Best way is warm it up on the old plug go to your test road. Change the plug for a new one and dont let it idle and give it the beans for the prescribed time. Kill the engine and pull the clutch in but DONT close the throttle. Take out the new plug and fit the old one. Return home and cut the threads off the new plug. Look at the bottom of the porcelain part and your looking for a black ring of soot about 1mm thick there. Any smaller and its lean any thicker its rich. If its like 1.5mm then leave it its safe 2mm and its too rich.
