Not happy with my oil pump ? on my mk1
cant see it stroking on tick-over ? put a finger on pulley towards pump,to put some pressure/load on it and you can feel a weak stroke.
Go premix ? 33:1 sound about right ?

Mr Mellow, are you suggesting "stroke shims" ?
is anyone able to give a breif outline to doing this procedure please, possibly with the aid of a piccy......
I have previously run premix out of precaution on any 2 stroke with an untrusted pump Ta T

PM`d Arrow thanking him for the guidance.
Previously, if no spindle movement at tickover I have assumed (incorrectly) that the pump is jiggered ! and gone to premix as the solution.
Thanks Again , Tout
