Hi all
I bought a 250lc last year that was going to be converted to a 350lc, it has twin disc, 350 rear wheel and running on pre mix and of course 350 top end but my question is it has 250 carbs. So what is the difference between 250 and 350 carbs and do I need to change them?

They are the same size and even look identical but have internal differences in the air jets that can't be changed. You can try upjetting but a set of proper 4L0 carbs (or 350 YPVS ones) will work much better.

just to throw a posible spanner in the works,i have 4l1 carbs.mine was a 250 converted to 350.the pilots, main jets and needles were swapped for 350 ones at some point.ran like a dream and started 1st kick every kick.i know by the time you swap all that,it prob b cheaper to buy 350 carbs, all im saying is mine ran like a dream with them. in case you want to know, main jets swapped to 220,the needles swapped to 5k1,and pilot jet 22.5.clip on needle in the middle.i dont know what were in there in 1st place as someone made the changes before i got the bike.
