Like most of us out there,we love our bikes and LC's especially. We spend hours rebuilding them how we want them. And then comes the day when we start them for the first time.Sometimes they start and run fine first time but most often they need extra work. What you then do is recheck everything, changing settings etc.If this does not work you may ask questions on here with the hope someone can help you out. I had tried this route with lots of suggestions of what the problem might be but was still unable to sort it out.I then PM'ed a member who lived close by to ask for help whom I had never met before. He offered to help and brought parts he thought might help that I didn't have spare.Within 2 hours the bike was running without the problem that had stopped me from enjoying my pride and joy for over a year since finishing the complete rebuild. So I would like to say thanks to all those members who proferred advice and to OEB for helping a fellow member ( and 100's more with online/technical advice) get my pride and joy running as it should do.
This is the reason this forum works because we help each other. You ask a question and get the answers you require.
Cheers
Gaz
