ok folks, its a ruff arse job,but i sat my tank, panels and seat unit on the frame, they are not attached, just resting in place, but i cant decide where to mount the tail unit.there is only a slight differance,by about an inch or so,but all the way to the tank means i have to cut old seat catch mounts off the frame, but will look tidier from the top, further back saves me cutting old mounts off,but needs tidying up front, but from a side view i think further back looks a bit better but cannot decide,so i would like your preferances please.......or if you have any other ideas please throw them this way.anyways heres pics..... seat further back... leaves this gap, ignore the bit of metal, that was just to hold the front down.i know i can get round this fairly easily, but i dont want it to look too heath robinson..... next shot is with the seat furthest forward..... this leaves the front of it like this....... granted, neither is by any means perfect, but from the top i think closer the tank looks best, but the side view im not so convinced. anyways, heres a couple with the belly pan propped up aswell.was guna fit this, but im not convinced by this either.wish i could make my mind up.lol.see wot u think??? anyways if you could have a look, and let me know which set up you prefer,we will see which way is most popular. thanks for looking. ;D

bottom of the unit will be trimmed by the way,to line up with side panels.thats wot the black tape is for,i put that on a while ago,and was taped with the seat furthest back.(but was only a ruff job to get an idea whether it would look better cut down).

I don't think the top view will come into it once you have a saddle on, so just judge it from the side view. I personally prefer it with the bellypan on too. good luck.
