Yes do, Ian. Here's a taster from a couple of years ago: My season has already started scruff : me going over Rivvy last Sunday Nice pic. I wonder why those photographers don't cover Devil's Bridge, my local. I was working last Sunday but there was quite a few bikes out. I work on route to Devil's Bridge and it drives me bonkers listening to the bikes go past. Especially at 10.30 when my gang go out to play looking nice scruff might actually fire mine up the weekend as it now has its billet valves and microns on then i might take the wobbly f**kers back off lol. It will all seem worth while when you hit that sweet spot. 'Tis the season to be jolly.

Usually a bit of both. We should be there just before 12 and probably leave a couple of hours later but others will come and go as and when.
Early afternoon should be a safe bet.

Cheers Norbo. That's what I was trying to show The road goes over the distant hill top. You can just see something white up there, maybe a van or something. Is a good place to open it up. ;D I have now put a post in the Events section.

Where is that road, I don't recognise it? I've cycled and riden most of the NW over the last 35 years or so, but can't place that one? I'm guessing way north of Lancaster on reasonably high ground?

Good guess, Ian. It's Kellet Lane, Halton. If you enter it in Google Maps, it will take you straight to it. Zoom in for street view

I know the Kellets and Halton. I've been along this road many times but always heading south, that's why I couldn't place it but it looked familiar.
I'll be in the Borwick, Arkholme area tomorrow on a cycle race. Not racing though, as an official, on my Guzzi.

Heading south is a good idea - down hill ;D The mixture of cycle races, trucks, tractors and motorbikes on those roads is always a concern It makes me laugh when I see the signs saying 'caution cycle race in progress'. Why can't we have those for motorbikes on a weekend? I like that particular stretch. It's a good place to check my carbs - high gear, low revs, throttle to stop and see what happens.

The weather forecast has improved for tomorrow. I'll be at Rivi late morning until lunch. In the afternoon I'm running a mate over to Skipton to pick a bike up and we'll probably come home the long way through the Dales. Looks like a nice day for it!

I will be at Rivi about 11am. Will be on a mars bar LC without a single bit of olive drab. Come say hello.

Not that similar but it's got white wheels and a belly pan.
You don't happen to know where a 400E HFR 955S is do you? DVLA showed it going back on the road last year.
