how do I stop the head gasket dribbling coolant??
done a search and its still not clear - A genuine gasket is one option, and a very thin smear of gasket sealer is another .
whats the general consensus??

Remove the head, clean everything. Respray the Gasket with Metallic coloured Laquer (be certain it IS laquer in silver/copper) Then refit. Poor mans' Permatex Copper Coat Gasket spray.. yes it does work. Unless there are other issues ie: damaged gasket, warped head, missmatched cyls etc.
