Spark eroding would be easiest but would need the engine stripping to prevent the dielectric fluid getting into everything. Or...... I am assuming the screw has broken above the level of the casing (a bit sticking out)? Best thing to try is filing it flat and square, then refit the clutch casing with the remaining screws and dowels lining it up. Select a drill thats the same size as the hole in the casing, and dimple the top of the screw - the casing will centralise it. Then, as Rave says, drill it first with a 3mm drill and keep going up in increments until you get to the tapping drill size (5.1mm for M6). This should release the pressure and loosen the screw, before you get to the 5.1mm diameter. If not, use the 5.1mm dia and then tap out the thread remnants. Top tip is to keep the drill square - ideally sat on a pillar drill or suchlike. If youre using a hand drill, get someone to keep an eye on the drill for squareness to avoid wandering into the parent alloy. When we do this at work, on a bridgeport, we use a carbide slot drill but I wouldn't imagine too many people have this kinda kit lying around their shed. Hope this helps..... Good Luck.....

Thanks for help guys! Bolt has broken off below the level of the casing and not square so cant get a punch or drill on it! Sounds like a strip down and off to a proper workshop!
